How to clean the marble tile grout in efflorescence
How to clean the marble tile grout in efflorescence
Marble has been recognized for its durability, beauty and versatility. Cement grout is generally used during installation of marble tiles to fill the tiled joints. Water can evaporate from cured cement grout and deposit dry mineral salts on the tile surface. Although often harmless, this white powdered efflorescence may cause dirty or dusty tiles to appear. The efflorescence already remains on the tiles, the more difficult it is removed. Immediately remove efflorescence grout from marble tiles to restore its aesthetic appearance.
Instructions
1 Dry mop the tiles affected with a mop to loosen dirt, dust and efflorescence. Loosen both efflorescence of the tiles as possible with the mop.
2 Remove loose dirt and efflorescence with a file attachment.
3 Inspect tiles for remaining efflorescence. If the white powdered substance is kept in the marble, scrub the affected tiles with a nylon brush to loosen the stubborn efflorescence. To avoid scratching tiles, do not use abrasive cleansers, such as wire brushes or steel wool. Use only a nylon brush.
4 Empty The tiles with the vacuum attachment again to remove efflorescence loosened. Do not leave traces of paper on the tiles.
5 Repeat the process until the blossom is completely removed from the marble. Do not apply water to the affected tiles, as they dissolve mineral salts and make them soak again in the tiles.

How to clean concrete tile grout with equipment
How to clean concrete tile grout with equipment
Concrete grout is used between tiles to join each other. If it is not properly sealed when the tile is installed, grout can easily absorb the liquid and stain because it is very porous. The ideal is to clean the grout as soon as possible and seal it to avoid further problems. A pressure cleaning machine can be used to clean the tile.
Instructions
1 Mix oxygen bleach with water. Use several balls for a gallon bucket of water. Stir until dust dissolves.
2 Mop or sponge on the floor and let stand for half an hour. If the grout absorbs water, mop in more solution to make it moist all the time.
3 Rub the floor surface, concentrating on the tile, with a power washer with a hard-bristle attachment. Add more solution while rubbing.
4 Rinse with clean water and towel dry to remove excess water.

How to clean the white grout in the shower
How to clean the white grout in the shower
It is common to see the grouted bath tiles of stains, and it seems more evident if the color of the grout is white. The stains on the bathroom tiles are not only from mold formation. It could also be due to soap residue, dirt or hard water deposits. Simple cleaning methods help remove stains and leave the white grout clean.
Instructions
1 Spray the grout cleaner into the grout and wait 10 minutes. Special Grout Cleaners can be used for white grouting. Use the cleaning brush, and gently rub the grout.
2 Use warm water to clean the grout. This will remove the soap scum, dirt and some of the fungus. Repeat the first step and the second step if necessary.
3 Examine the grout closely. Grout may still have a grayish-green appearance. This is probably some mold that is covered by hard water deposits and is clearly visible in a white cement grout.
4 Pour the vinegar enough to soak the paper towel. Excess vinegar may break tile grout. Use a high-strength paper towel so it won't tear when it gets wet.
5 Spread the vinegar-soaked paper towels to cover the tiled floor and the vertical tiles. Wet paper towels usually adhere to the surface of the vertical tile, too. Vinegar is acidic, and works well to dissolve the alkaline water tank.
6 Check the paper towel every hour to make sure it is still soaked in vinegar. If it becomes dry then remove the paper towel and use another towel with vinegar. Vinegar is a very mild acid, and it acts slowly in hard water deposits.
7 Lift a piece of paper towel and check for an improvement in grout color or see melting deposits. If so, then indicate that the tile is ready for the next step. If the grout still looks dirty, then put the paper towel back, and let it rest on the tile for another two hours. It could take up to eight hours or even days to completely remove hard water reservoir.
8 Pull the paper towel away from the tile, and gently rub the deposits. Clean the tiles with tap water.
