According to a study, most people with Restless Bowel Syndrome (IBS) have vitamin D deficiency. The study, which sheds light on the discomfort affecting nearly one in ten people in the industrialized world, says that vitamin D supplements should be established throughout the country for those suffering from restless bowel syndrome. Recurrent restless bowel syndrome, which has a great social impact, causes both the symptoms of the direct illness and indirect diseases and the burden of health care due to the time stolen from work. The direct cost of restless bowel syndrome is estimated at $ 8 billion (7.44 billion euros) and indirectly $ 25 billion (23.27 billion euros) annually. In the study of Sheffield University researchers, 51 people with restless bowel syndrome were found to have vitamin D deficiency in 81.8% of people with constipation, 70% of those with diarrhea and 81.6% of those with diarrhea and constipation. Researchers point out that these rates are quite high. Here are the results Scientists at the University of Sheffield conducted a double-blind, randomized trial to assess whether vitamin D supplementation was beneficial to people experiencing restless bowel syndrome. Participants who completed a questionnaire on the symptoms of restless bowel syndrome initially gave a blood sample to record vitamin D levels. Participants were randomly given either vitamin D and probiotic, or only vitamin D or placebo, and were asked to report biweekly for 12 weeks. At the end of the study, when the vitamin D levels were measured again, it was seen that the vitamin D levels of all the people taking the supplements given for 12 weeks increased. 25% to 87.5% of the vitamin D level of the group receiving vitamin D and probiotic together, 22.2% to 92.3% of the vitamin D level of the group receiving vitamin D alone, and finally vitamin D of the placebo group levels increased from 18.5% to 60%. Vitamin D supplement Vitamin D supplementation is also supported by other studies linking vitamin D deficiency and inflammatory bowel disease. In a recently described study, it was reported that there was a relationship between vitamin D and low blood pressure and that vitamin D reduces the risk of heart and kidney disease. According to the study evaluating data from 37 patients with restless bowel syndrome, 70% of patients with restless bowel syndrome who received high amounts of vitamin D supplements decreased their complaints. 34AXX

Bleeding in the breech, which is the most prominent feature of the '' hemorrhoid '', is one of the most common health problems. Experts suggest that bleeding in the rectum may be a symptom of hemorrhoidal disease; It may also be a sign of other life-threatening diseases such as intestinal cancer or anal tears. General Surgery Specialist Dr. Dr. Bülent Menteş, '' hemorrhoids known as' '' 'hemorrhoids'' or '' yeast ', is a common disease characterized by sagging pillows in the anal canal and bleeding by squeezing. Stressing that the main cause of the disease is long-term constipation, Mentes said that it is among the most common factors in hereditary characteristics. Menteş, the main cause of hemorrhoids defecation (great ablution) is thought to be errors and strains in the habits, said the disease is very common in society. Hemorrhoids, internal and external hemorrhoids, including 2 types of mentions, '' Internal hemorrhoids are generally painless; external hemorrhoids are painful. Outer hemorrhoids blood clots 'thrombosed hemorrhoids' occurs and causes very severe pain, '' he said. He said that the most common complaints in hemorrhoids were bleeding from the breech, breast formation in the breech and sometimes itching and pruritus. Emphasizing that bleeding from the rectum is an important complaint, Menteş may be a symptom of hemorrhoidal disease; It should be kept in mind that other diseases such as life-threatening or anal tears, especially bowel cancer, may be a sign. Mentes, in such a case should be consulted to the doctor immediately without delay. THE BEST TREATMENT OF HEMOROID PROTECTION General Surgery Specialist Op. Dr. Bahadir Ege pointed out that the best treatment of hemorrhoids is '' protection ''. According to the information provided by the Aegean, protection should be paid attention to the following: '' -Regular nutrition (whole wheat bread, plenty of fruit, vegetables and water) - Avoiding irritants (spices, alcohol, pickles) - Regular toilet habit - Don't push too hard. - No heavy lifting. On the other hand, smoking, alcohol, excessive coffee consumption and obesity (obesity) also have a significant relationship with the development of hemorrhoidal disease. When necessary, patients are given a pulp diet application. The accepted opinion about the application of pulp diet shows that diet is necessary and contributes to healing in the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease, but it is supported by other treatment methods. So, the diet application alone is not the solution for the treatment of hemorrhoidal disease. COLONOSCOPY MUST BE MADE Hemorrhoids '' sclerotherapy '' (needle drying), '' band ligation '' and surgical treatment are possible. Patient and physician should decide together the most appropriate method. In the first stage, the definitive diagnosis and stage of the disease should be determined. Under these symptoms, cancer, colitis, such as a more important pathology to be omitted or omitted almost always some "" Colonoscopy "such as endoscopic examinations are required to be done. Once the diagnosis of hemorrhoidal disease is confirmed, the treatment depends on the stage of the disease. Most early stage cases (stage 1-2); some dietary recommendations, correction of defecation habits, some herbal supplements and / or some medications. In the later stages (stage 2-3), some anoscopic interventions are performed to fix the disease by fixing overhanging hemorrhoidal tissues. THE TREATMENT IS DETERMINED ACCORDING TO THE STAGE These procedures are performed on an outpatient basis (without hospitalization) just like endoscopy. Treatment success is shown to be high when dehydration (injection sclerotherapy), band ligation and infrared laser application methods are applied skillfully. These procedures, which are completely painless, rule out the necessity of surgery in many patients. Surgical treatment may also be required in very advanced cases (stage 4) and in the presence of combined internal and external hemorrhoids. Because of the painful operations in this region, some new technologies developed in recent years are being used. The success rate and patient comfort are shown to be extremely high after the operations performed using ultrasonic dissector (LASER) or PPH stapler. 31AXX

Last week, I mentioned a clinical study demonstrating that blueberry fruits may contribute positively to improving the quality of life of patients due to the rich polyphenolic content of blueberry fruits in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. I'll talk about some other herbal options this week. Turmeric roots, the most remarkable herbal medicine in recent years. Curcumin, an effective component of turmeric, has been shown to have an effect on a large number of mediators involved in inflammation (especially nuclear factor kappa B). As a matter of fact, it is supported by experimental and clinical studies that turmeric and curcumin have a certain degree of effectiveness in almost all diseases in which fire plays a role in the formation of cancer. In addition to standard drug therapy in patients with ulcerative colitis, curcumin may be helpful in alleviating, preventing and treating complaints. In a small-scale clinical pilot study (open label; US BD) 5 ulcerative colitis (550 milligram capsules; 2 times a day for 1 month and then 3 times a day for 1 month); and 5 Crohn's (360 milligram capsules; 1 month) 2 times a day for 2 months and then 4 times a day for 2 months) with curcumin in combination with drug treatment. A more comprehensive study was conducted in Japan. In 89 ulcerative colitis patients (in a scientific design) for a period of six months, one group received only one drug treatment and the other group received 1 gram of curcumin after each meal. Clink and endoscopic examination showed that curcumin significantly improved the quality of life of the patients. Another option is 'Bromelin', a proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple with a known anti-inflammatory effect. It is currently recommended for various inflammatory diseases, including arthritis. Turmeric roots and pineapple are also effective in inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's and ulcerative colitis . Those with this condition should also pay attention to vitamin D deficiency . OMEGA-3 HAS NO BENEFIT On the other hand, inflammatory bowel diseases are also closely related to nutrition. It has been reported that fish oil and omega-3 treatment, which is recommended for ulcerative colitis and Crohn's patients, has no positive contribution because of its anti-inflammatory effect. No improvement was observed in the reports (Cochrane Database), which collectively evaluated clinical trials. When the results of 19 studies covering 2609 people diagnosed with inflammatory bowel diseases were examined, the presence of high total fat, omega-6 fatty acids (edible oils) and meat products in the daily diet increased the complaints in both ulcerative colitis and Crohn's patients. On the other hand, it was concluded that dietary fiber-rich vegetable consumption can alleviate complaints in patients with ulcerative colitis. The available information shows that vitamin D deficiency plays a role in the development of inflammatory bowel diseases. In this regard, low amounts of vitamin D supplementation may be recommended, especially in Crohn's patients, until more accurate results are obtained. In fact, herbal medicine options that can be useful in ulcerative colitis patients are quite wide. It is not possible to include all of them here. There isn't enough clink data on most of them. Here, I was able to talk about some examples that can only be found and applied in pharmacies in our country, and their effectiveness has been demonstrated by clinical studies. In addition, not all herbal medicine can be expected to produce equally successful results for everyone. In this regard, I recommend that you monitor the usefulness of these products when used in addition to your treatment. 29AXX

The nutrient components that reach the colon without being digested in the upper gastrointestinal tract, are selectively fermented in the colon and stimulate the proliferation and / or activity of the beneficial bacterial groups in the colon are called prebiotic. prebiotics The prebiotics known today are nutrients. But not all food fibers are prebiotic. Some food fibers have no prebiotic effect. Prebiotics are also resistant to digestion in the small intestine. They become fermented in the large intestine. Glycemic indexes are low, they give less energy. They increase stool volume and frequency. Not all dietary fibers are prebiotic. In order to be prebiotic, they need to increase the growth and / or activity of one or a number of bacteria required for health, and they must also be fermented by colonic bacteria. Prebiotics are necessary for the nutrition of microorganisms that are beneficial for our body. There are generally two ways to promote probiotic flora in the intestine and to proliferate the beneficial bacteria present in the intestine by consuming prebiotics. Prebiotics are non-digestible nutrients that selectively increase the proliferation and / or activity of one or more types of microorganisms useful to the body. For a nutrient component to be prebiotic, it must have the following properties. 1- Must be resistant to digestion 2- The column should be hydrolyzed by microflora bacteria. 3- Stimulate the proliferation and / or activity of beneficial bacteria in the colon. 4- It should have positive effects on the health of the host. In the emergence of the concept of prebiotics, the long life of Bulgarian peasants was attributed to the consumption of fermented dairy products. galactose) are prebiotics.Inulin and oligofructose are the most commonly used.Hindiba (Cichorium intybus) and artichoke are rich in prebiotics. In india 15-20% inulin and 5-10% oligofructose. Inulin, which is found in most foods, is derived from chicory or synthesized from sucrose. Oligofructose is a partially hydrolyzed form of inulin. Beans, chickpeas, wheat, barley, rye, onions, artichokes, garlic, bananas, asparagus and leeks are also other prebiotic sources. prebiotics The prebiotics that reach the column unchanged are hydrolyzed by bacteria. The hydrolysis process is carried out in particular by bifido bacteria, which requires the enzyme betafruktofuranosidase. The fermentation process results in short-chain fatty acids, organic acids and short-chain carboxyl acids. Short-chain fatty acids have various injured effects for our health. It lowers the intestinal pH, in which the absorption of minerals, especially calcium, is better. While beneficial microorganisms can grow in acidic media, pathogenic microorganisms cannot. Short chain fatty acids are also an energy source for intestinal epithelial cells. Each of the short-chain fatty acids (acetate, butyrate, propionate) has distinct functions. As the acetate is a strong acid, it lowers the intestinal pH. Butyrate is the fuel of colon cells, influencing colon carcinogenesis by suppressing the proliferation of cancer cells. Propionic acid, on the other hand, inhibits hepatic fatty acid synthesis and lowers serum LDL cholesterol levels. Inulin and oligofructose also have fiber effects. Each gram of oligofructose, 1.3 g of stool weight, each gram of inulin causes an increase in weight of 2 grams. This effect is beneficial because there is an inverse relationship between the risk of colon cancer development and fecal weight. is an effect. Chemical Structure of Prebiotics: Oligosaccharides are sugars with a length of 2-20 saccharides. Other than oligosaccharides naturally present in plants and vegetables, some are obtained by polysaccharide hydrolysis or enzymatic reaction. Prebiotic compounds include: 1-Inulin 2-Lactulose 3-Fructo-oligosaccharides 4-Galacto-oligosaccharides 5-Soy-oligosaccharides 6-Lactosucrose 7-Isomalto-oligosaccharides 8-Gluco-oligosaccharides 9-Xylo-oligosaccharides Gentio-oligosaccharides. There are more than 130 different types of oligosaccharides in breast milk. The concentration of oligosaccharides in clostrum is 15-23 g / L, and in transitional milk and mature milk is 8-12 g / L. 75-85% of breast milk oligosaccharides are neutral and 15-25% are acidic oligosaccharides. The positive effects of prebiotics on our health: prebiotics The beneficial effects of prebiotics include inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria, laxative action, reducing the risk of diarrhea and colon cancer development, increasing mineral absorption, serum triglyceride levels, and lowering postprandial glucose and insulin levels in animal experiments. Prebiotics have beneficial effects on colon microflora, immune functions, mineral bioavailability, lipid metabolism and prevent colon carcinogenesis. Oligosaccharides act as cell surface analogs, bind pathogenic microorganisms to themselves and allow them to be excreted in faeces. Inulin indicates that oligofructose, gluco-oligosaccharide and galacto-oligosaccharides increase the absorption of calcium and magnesium, in particular. Oligofructose intake increases bone density in femur and tibia. It also has iron and zinc absorption enhancing effects. Gazi University Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology Intestinal Flora The gastrointestinal tract of the fetus is sterile. Immediately after birth, colonization begins with different microorganisms. The path of these microorganisms to the baby; contact persons, birth channel and environment. Nutritional status of the mother, delivery time, delivery and feeding type, immune status of the baby and antibiotic use are the factors affecting the baby's intestinal flora. It is known that in babies born by cesarean section, colonization is later than in babies born via vaginal route because they do not pass through the birth canal. It is known that Enterobacter species are dominant in infants who are fed and fed by commercial formula and bifidobacteria are dominant in flora in infants fed with breast milk. Bifidobacteria are seen in the intestinal flora of infants fed with food at the 6th month, but they are few in number. When the babies are 12 months old, whether they are born by caesarean section or vaginally, whether breastfeeding or breastfeeding, the intestinal flora gains the characteristics of adult flora and is almost similar. After the formation of intestinal flora, it usually remains constant and a permanent deformation occurs in certain situations. Although antibiotic use, changes in immune status, chemotherapy and radiation are among the causes of intestinal flora changes, we can mention the widespread use of antibiotics as the most important and most common cause in children. It is known that there are 400 different microorganisms in the intestine. This figure was obtained from the cultured microorganisms. If it is necessary to take into account the presence of microorganisms that cannot be produced in culture, it is estimated that the number of microorganisms in the intestine will be much higher than predicted. If we take into consideration the diversity and number of microorganisms in the intestinal mucosa, we can say that their metabolic activities may be very high. It is ironic that the authors refer to the literature as a forgotten organ for intestinal bacteria from time to time. PROBIOTICS IN PEDIATRY Although many definitions have been used in the literature for probiotics, the most explanatory; These are live microorganisms that are taken with foods and have positive effects by balancing the intestinal flora of the host when taken in certain amounts. Information about the benefit of living microorganisms goes back to very old years. It was observed for the first time that the lactobacilli taken orally by Bulgarian villagers had a positive effect on their health and prolonged their life span. A microorganism can be probiotic; It should be sought first of all to have properties such as not disrupting normal flora, being in the native flora of the host, not pathogen for the host, being non-invasive or noncarcinogenic, and resistant to acid Ph and bile salts for oral probiotics. When the literature information is examined, probiotics; We have seen that it has been used successfully in the control of the route virus diarrhea, in the control of CL difficile-related colitis, in the treatment of gastritis caused by H. pylori, in the enhancement of immune system and in reducing the symptoms of lactose malabsorption. PREBIOTICS IN PEDIATRIC Prebiotics are simply nutrients that are not digested. However, in order for these nutrients to be prebiotic; it must pass through the stomach and small intestine without hydrolysis and be nutritional for beneficial bacteria found in the colon and stimulate their proliferation. Prebiotics are fermented by beneficial microorganisms in the large intestine. It is an energy source for microflora in released metabolites. Thus, this ecological system is supported. We know that prebiotics are reliable. The recommended dose for children is 1-3 g / day. As a result, it is impossible to distinguish between prebiotics and probiotics. We believe that probiotics, which may block the mechanism of occurrence for each disease in the future or which may be effective in the treatment phase, will be introduced. 28AXX

Useful friendly bacteria that support the immune system are first introduced into the body by swallowing the fluid accumulated in the lower part of the mother's vagina during contractions at normal birth. Nutritional and Diet Specialist Elvan Odabaşı stated that the beneficial bacteria passing from the womb to the baby lived in the intestines throughout human life and that it was important to consume foods such as bread, bulgur, ayran and kefir made from whole grain flour. Each person has an average of 1.5 kilos of bacteria in the intestines. Stating that babies born with caesarean section could not take these bacteria, Elvan Odabaşı continued: iyotik Probiotics are useful friendly bacteria living in our intestines. These friendly bacteria take lactobacilli, which are good bacteria and the first sip of the baby's life. Once they are in place, the intestinal flora makes an effort for a 70-year health map, the process being completed by the age of 3. From the first day the baby falls into the womb. It is very important for the mother to be fed during the first 1000 days, to have probiotic support, to feed the baby and to get probiotic support if needed. 'CAESARIAN AND BORN CAN BE PREPARATIVE TO ALLERGY' According to research, babies born with caesarean births are more likely to see allergies, Nutrition Specialist Odabaşı, "Research shows that children coming to the world by cesarean section and breastfeeding in the first 3 years as they are faced with more allergic disorders can use more antibiotics. As they come to the world with a community of bacteria, both are losing some amount of useful bacteria, "he said. BUL BULGUR IS ONE OF THE FAVOREST DISTRIBUTES ' Stating that some foods can be beneficial bacteria in the intestines, Elvan Odabaşı, an expert on the advice of external support can be taken, he said. Odabasi said that probiotics could lose their beneficial properties by being affected by the acidic environment in the stomach and said, "They will benefit as much as they live in the intestines to give the desired benefit in the body." TAKE THESE PRECAUTIONS IN THE KITCHEN! Nutritionist Odabaşı listed the precautions to be taken in the kitchen as follows: "In order to increase the number of our friendly bacteria, we first need to make some changes in our kitchen. In the first place, we should consume foods such as bread, bulgur prepared with whole grain wheat flour. With the fiber and vegetable proteins it contains, it helps the bacteria in the intestines to be longer lasting and capable. It is possible to increase and protect the beneficial bacteria, and fermented foods should be consumed, pickles should be consumed but should be less salty. Eat yogurt, buttermilk and kefir. " DAN CONSULT THE EXPERT TO INCREASE USEFUL BACTERIA ’ Stating that the precautions to be taken in the kitchen are important, Odabaşı stated that those who need probiotic support should consult with experts and said: "It is very important that you use the probiotics recommended by experts according to one's complaints to increase the number of beneficial bacteria in the gut. What complaints are there? Do you have problems with vitamins, mineral deficiencies, constipation? Are you having problems in tolerating a food? Once all of these have been evaluated, probiotics can be recommended to support your daily diet according to your needs. " 'RED FRUITS SUPPORT THE VAJINA FLORA' Stating that probiotics also have benefits to vaginal flora, Odabaşı explained that nutrition rich in probiotics has advantages for women: "According to recent research, it is very important that mothers receive probiotic support up to 26 weeks of gestation both in terms of giving birth to the child in a normal way and comparing with a good bacterial population. In addition, you will be consuming more red fruits and fermented foods. You can put white cheese, tomatoes and peppers between the sourdough bread and you can also drink buttermilk. the vaginal flora will also be supported. If you experience frequent gas, bloating, abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhea or constipation, you are blamed for anything you eat. However, if these symptoms persist, you should consider whether you have a more serious health condition. When dealing with gastrointestinal symptoms, people often consider irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), or candida yeast growth. However, researchers have discovered another insidious condition that may cause gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort: excessive bacterial proliferation in the small intestine, SABO, shortened from IBAB or English. Experts say the number of people diagnosed with SIBO is increasing. Since SIBO is not yet fully understood, it is often not diagnosed or misdiagnosed. [12] SIBO: A Quick Look Some information about bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine (SIBO): Bacteria are required for digestion, but when things are unstable, they can cause overgrowth. SIBO is an increase in number or a change in the type of bacteria in the upper GI channel. Common symptoms include gas, bloating, and abdominal swelling. SIBO is often misdiagnosed as other conditions. The most common test for SIBO is the breath test. How Does a Healthy Intestine Work? In order to fully understand SIBO, it is important to understand the intestinal environment, which contains most of your body's microbiome. Microbiome is a collection of microorganisms. The idea of living bacteria may not be attractive, but it has a symbiotic relationship with many types of probiotic bacteria that strengthen your body's immune system and keep you healthy. If everything goes well, your body digests food that passes through the gastrointestinal (GI) or digestive tract. As food moves from the mouth to the esophagus and into the stomach, muscles, nerves and neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, help digestion progress at various stages. The nutrient mass, called bolus, passes through the GI channel, and digestive juices and digestive enzymes can be absorbed into the bloodstream by breaking down macro nutrients. Probiotic bacteria and digestive enzymes in the digestive system help digestion. Intestinal flora helps our body to absorb vitamins and minerals, produces beneficial digestive enzymes and fights harmful bacteria, sometimes things become unstable, causing bacteria to multiply in the small intestine or SIBO. What is SIBO? Excessive bacterial growth in the SIBO or small intestine is a change in the type or number of bacteria in the upper gastrointestinal tract. While the large intestine normally contains many bacteria, the small intestine usually does not have large colonies of bacteria. A problem with digestion may cause imbalance and lead to SIBO. Since small bowel aspiration contains more than 100,000 colony forming units (CFU) bacteria per mL, a collection of digestive material is considered to be the diagnosis of SIBO. [2nd] Under healthy conditions, various processes control bacterial levels in the small intestine: gastric acid secretions, normal muscle movement in the GI tract of food, the bactericidal properties of bile produced by the liver and pancreas, and a robust ileocecal valve (separating the small and large intestine) [2]. In some people, SIBO is asymptomatic (asymptomatic) and in other cases there are symptoms and is caused by conditions that cause bacterial overgrowth - for example a faulty ileocecal valve. Since SIBO often occurs with other conditions, it may not be diagnosed if a doctor or health care provider does not perform tests. Symptoms of SIBO Symptoms of SIBO may include some or all of the following: [2] Indigestion Swelling Gas Gas in the stomach Abdominal pain Abdominal swelling Constipation Diarrhea or loose stools Nausea Weakness and fatigue Bad breath (bad breath) Weight loss Vitamin B-12, iron or fat soluble vitamin deficiencies (A, D, E, K) The situation may be very similar to IBS, as SIBO can cause nutritional deficiencies and absorption problems, especially with proteins and fats. Which Conditions Does SIBO Occur? Because SIBO is often misdiagnosed as other conditions, medical professionals are still not sure how many people have SIBO. One study showed that 2.5-22 percent of people were affected. Some studies have found that SIBO occurs more frequently in women, while other studies have found that it occurs equally in women and men. [3, 4] SIBO is more common in people with other symptoms. One study found that among people without any symptoms, 17 percent of morbidly obese individuals had SIBO compared with 2.5 percent of non-obese individuals. [2nd] SIBO frequency increases with age. SIBO was present in 90 percent of elderly people aged 70 to 94 years, and especially those who could not absorb lactose. SIBO occurs with other GI conditions. One study found that 30 to 85 percent of people with IBS and 50 percent of people with celiac disease had SIBO in 50 percent of those who did not respond to a gluten-free diet. [2nd] People with connective tissue disease or scleroderma who have received radiotherapy may have increased the chance of SIBO. SIBO is also more common among alcoholics than the general population. One study found that 50 percent of people with cirrhosis of the liver had SIBO. Patients with type-2 diabetes increase the risk of taking SIBO because diabetes affects bowel mobility, the activity through which food passes through the digestive tract. [one] Some vitamin deficiencies are associated with SIBO, including B-12, iron and fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K). Experts think that SIBO leads to a B-12 deficiency. In one study, people with gastritis and SIBO absorbed B-12 less because bacteria were absorbing B-12, which reduced human absorption. What Causes SIBO? Experts believe that several factors contribute to bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. SIBO is not only caused by bad bacteria; good bacteria can disrupt the intestines and grow beyond normal levels. Controlling bacteria in the small intestine depends on the healthy functioning of various digestive processes, including gastric acid secretions, normal muscle movements in the GI tract of food, and the bactericidal properties of saffron produced by the liver and pancreas, and a robust ileocecal valve (separating the small and large intestine). . Anything that affects these processes can disrupt the intestines and lead to SIBO. Conditions affecting the GI pathway, such as diabetes, immunodeficiency and autoimmune conditions, celiac disease, or Crohn's disease, can trigger a bacterial overgrowth in the small intestine. [2nd] Physical damage to the GI duct caused by surgery or by-products of other conditions can cause SIBO. A damaged ileocecal valve can cause bacteria from the large intestine to return to the small intestine. Other factors that may cause bacteria to enter the colon from the small intestine include bowel obstruction, diverticulitis, loss of normal muscle mobility of the GI channel, or when feces are supported in the large intestine (colon). There appears to be a connection between IBS and SIBO, and the two conditions have overlapping symptoms. However, scientists still disagree whether the IBS leads to SIBO or whether SIBO leads to IBS. Some believe that IBS disrupts normal bowel motility and causes bacterial growth, while others believe that SIBO causes IBS symptoms. A third group of experts believes that SIBO and IBS are different conditions and should be handled separately. [2nd] How is SIBO Diagnosed? Because SIBO often mimics other conditions that affect bowel health, it may not be the first condition your doctor intends to test. You can talk to health centers and ask for special tests. Test for SIBO There are two main ways to diagnose SIBO: breath testing and bacterial culture, and the best scientific disagreement. The breath test is the simplest, least invasive and most commonly used test for SIBO. There are multiple types of breath tests used, but the two most common are glucose hydrogen and lactulose tests. These tests measure the gases produced by bacteria in the intestine from your breath. If you are going to do a breath test for SIBO, here is what you would expect. You will be asked to fast overnight and avoid eating unfermented carbohydrates such as whole grain bread or pasta. Smokers are advised not to smoke a few hours before the test. During the test day, you will first drink water inoculated with either glucose or lactulose. A technician will then collect a breath sample from you every 15 to 30 minutes, every 3 to 4 hours. The health care provider can determine if you have SIBO by measuring the level of hydrogen gas produced in breath samples produced by bacteria. According to one study, the laculose breath test was found to be more positive in people with GI symptoms than the glucose breath test. [4] If a species (such as most bacteria) that does not metabolize carbohydrates to hydrogen gas is responsible, both tests may miss SIBO. If there are bacteria producing hydrogen in the mouth, it may be accidentally diagnosed as SIBO. The other SIBO test involves bacterial culture taken directly from the small intestine. In this test, an endoscope will be placed in your mouth and down into the upper part of the small intestine. The doctor takes a sample of bacteria from inside your body and then the endoscope is removed. This sample is then cultured in a Petri dish to determine the number and species of bacteria present and whether there is overgrowth. Although this test directly measures existing bacteria, there are other drawbacks. The problems associated with the culture test include that it is more invasive, eg contaminated with other bacteria in the esophagus or mouth, and that the endoscope can only reach the upper small intestine, although bacterial overgrowth may go down the GI canal. Is it Possible to Prevent SIBO? If you completely avoid SIBO, you're better off. Eat a nutritious, plant-based diet and avoid diets rich in sugary and processed foods. Maintain your health with fitness, meditation and periodic fasting. Developing a balanced intestine, purifying your body from toxins and increasing your energy, along with a colon cleansing diet and colon cleansing is one of the most proactive measures you can take. Many people think that regular colon cleansing is an important part of maintaining bowel health. One thing is clear - a healthy body starts with a healthy intestine! 26AXX

Popular topics of recent days are intestinal bacteria, microbiology, our mental health and its connection. The fact that our intestines are our second brain. Could these bacteria affect our cravings, our mood, decide what to eat and lead us into obesity? There are about 100 trillion bacteria in this microorganism called microbiota. Their total weight is around 2-3 kg, which is about 2-3% of our body weight. The genetic material of microbiota is called microbioma. However, these two terms are often used in the same sense. Research on this topic in many countries suggests that these bacteria need some food groups to survive. For example, some bacteria can be fed with fat and others with carbohydrates. Not only do these bacteria compete for food in our digestive system, they all have a different purpose. Could these bacteria influence our decisions by signaling the intestinal microbiome? Because the intestines are connected to the immune system, endocrine system and nervous system, so these signals may affect our physical and mental reactions. Of course, this situation is bilateral. By changing what we eat, we can also change the effects of these bacteria on us (within 24 hours). Our diet is very effective on microbiome. Research also says that intestinal bacteria through the vagus nerve affect our food choices. Bacteria are capable of affecting neural signals and taste receptors in the gastric nerve, producing toxins that make us feel bad, or secreting chemicals that make us feel good. The rate of change of the microbiome can encourage us to change the types of microbes and to improve our health. This can also be achieved by adding different kinds of bacteria to food and food supplements via probiotics. Microbioma can be easily manipulated with prebiotic, probiotic and nutritional changes. Making the microbiome healthier helps prevent many diseases related to obesity, diabetes, cancer, digestion and the immune system. This community of microbes that live within us has an indisputable importance in maintaining body functions and staying healthy. In addition to affecting our appetite, the microbiota plays an important role in the digestion of foods, the support of the immune system, the production of certain vitamins, intestinal health, the prevention of inflammation, the maintenance of ideal body weight, and the fulfillment of various body functions such as brain activities. They are an integral part of our bodies. Rapidly increasing studies in recent years give clues that microbiota-related problems may play a role in the following diseases: Asthma Autism Cancer Celiac disease Colitis Diabetes Skin disorders such as eczema, acne, rosacea, urticaria Heart disease Obesity and Weight Increase Sensitive Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Food allergies / sensitivity Common colds, sinusitis, bronchitis Low energy Chronic fatigue Brain diseases (Alzheimer's, autism, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, migraine, depression, anxiety, thought blur) Autoimmune diseases - can be triggered by systemic inflammation of the intestinal wall (Hashimoto's thyroiditis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriasis) Candida proliferation As always, I would like to remind you once again about the impact of your diet on your health. To be healthy is in your hands and your responsibility… I wish you all a healthy day. 25AXX

The word probiotic means "to live" in Latin. Today, probiotic refers to live microbial foodstuffs that increase the microbial balance of the intestine and affect the benefit of the host animal or human. Probiotics help maintain a healthy balance in favor of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, stabilize the intestinal microflora, and support the function of flora. This flora is important in host defense against infections and prevents the proliferation of bacterial, viral and fungal agents. Today, probiotic products are widely used in the form of baby food and fermented dairy products all over the world, particularly in Japan, Europe, the United States and Canada. Lactobacillus species are also available in Germany as tablets. Turkey in the name of probiotic products has begun to announce new. In this review, we examined the development, general characteristics and uses of probiotics. HISTORY People have probably consumed food containing probiotic bacteria since prehistoric times when they kept it dry or buried. Food stored in this way would be fermented with bacteria. However, as bacteria began to be considered as a source of disease, the use of bacteria in the preparation of food was discontinued and enzymes replaced bacteria [1] . Ellie Metchnikoff first introduced the idea of bacterial replacement therapy in 1908. Metchnikoff reported that substances such as ammonia, amines and indole formed by intestinal bacteria as a result of protein hydrolysis lead to autointoxation in the host and the beneficial results of lactic acid bacteria that provide energy from carbohydrate fermentation instead of protein hydrolysis to reduce the number of these microorganisms [2] . However, bacterial replacement therapy was not widely accepted until 1921, when Rettger and Chaplin obtained beneficial results using Lactobacillus acidophilus strains in the treatment of constipation [3] . In 1965, Lilly and Stillwell called "probiotics" substances that produced one of the two organisms cultured together and stimulated the other's reproduction. In 1974, Parker called the probiotic substances found in animal feeds, which affect the intestinal flora and produce beneficial effects in the animal. In the sense we use today, in 1989, Fuller described probiotics as "live microbial foodstuffs that regulate the microbial balance of the host animal and produce beneficial effects" [3,4] . In the last 20 years probiotic organisms have been studied for the treatment or prevention of many diseases and promising results have been obtained. INTRODUCTION MICROFLORA AND CLINICAL IMPORTANCE The idea that probiotics can benefit from the use of probiotics is based on experimental and clinical data showing that intestinal flora is protective against many diseases: • Animals with impaired bowel flora become more susceptible to certain microorganisms than normal ones. For example, 10 10 Salmonella enteritidis must be administered to kill a normal flora mouse, while 10 microorganisms can kill a non-flora mouse. • In animals and humans receiving antibiotic treatment, flora changes resulting from treatment are susceptible to some infections. Pseudomembranous enterocolitis (PMEC) associated with Clostridium difficile is the best example of this [3,4] . In addition, it was observed that the clinical picture improved with the administration of faecal suspensions from healthy subjects to patients with PMEC experimentally [5] . • Some intestinal bacterial isolates inhibit pathogenic bacteria in vitro. Bifidobacteriae, Lactobacillus, Propionibacteriae species and enterococci isolated from the intestine inhibit C. difficile and C. botulinum growth in vitro [3] . The first flora elements of the intestine, which are sterile during the intrauterine period, are lactic acid bacteria taken from the vaginal flora of the mother during childbirth. The flora content is then determined by factors belonging to the host (nutrition, etc.) and organisms (colonization ability, etc.) [4] . There are about 400 bacterial species in human intestinal flora. 30-40 of these make up 99% of flora. The dominant population has about 10 10 live bacteria. The organisms in this flora are shown in Table 1 [2-4] . Intestinal flora may vary depending on many factors: 1. Food-related changes: Today, the etiology of many diseases has eating habits. Nutritional habits have changed significantly in the last 100 years, especially in western countries. Increased consumption of prepared food, especially prepared as sterile, makes the development of protective flora difficult [1] . 2. Changes due to environmental factors: • Excess hygiene: Nowadays, the increase in caesarean deliveries and excessive hygiene applied during childbirth and neonatal care prevent or delay the development of protective flora in the newborn. In western countries, there is an approach to support newborns with probiotic formulas [1,6] . • Antibiotic treatment • Stress: Under stress, lactobacilli decrease, while coliforms tend to increase. Stress-induced hormonal changes can also affect mucus production, reducing the number of flora elements associated with mucus [4] . PROBIOTICALLY USED MICROORGANISMS Probiotics are mainly lactic acid bacteria. Yogurt-forming microorganisms L. bulgaricu s and Streptococcus thermophilus are all elements of the intestinal flora. The microorganisms used as probiotics are shown in Table 2 . A probiotic product may contain one or more of these microorganisms. As the number of microorganisms it contains increases, the probiotic usage area expands [2-4,7] . Which microorganism will be selected as probiotic depends on the host. The microorganism to be used must be the flora element of that host [2] . There are 3 ways to choose: 1. Data collection with field work: It is a very time consuming, expensive and impractical method. 2. Selection according to laboratory test results: Bacterial colonization, reproductive properties and metabolites formed are considered. Today, the selection is based on these data. 3. Genetic manipulation: By using molecular techniques and PCR, detailed analysis of the effect of probiotic product on bacterial populations in the intestine can be performed. These techniques, which are currently in development, will be the most commonly used methods in the near future [4] . The properties of microorganisms used as probiotics are: • It should be reliable and should not cause any side effects in the animals and animals. • be stable; Low pH in the intestine should be metabolised without being affected by adverse environmental conditions such as bile salts. • It must be able to attach to colon and colonize. • An antagonist must be effective against carcinogenic and pathogenic bacteria. • It should produce antimicrobial substances. • Be capable of producing beneficial effects such as increased resistance to diseases in the host. • be resistant to antibiotics; should not be affected by antibiotics in the intestine, as it may be used to correct intestinal flora in patients with antibiotic-induced diarrhea. • Since the minimum effective doses are unknown, they should be present in large quantities in living cells. • It must be suitable for industrial treatment and should remain viable and stable for a long time under storage conditions [2,4] . EFFECT MECHANISMS OF PROBIOTICS The mechanisms of action of probiotics can be examined under three headings: 1. Direct Antagonistic Effect a. Antibacterial effect: Probiotics have effects such as altering metabolism or toxin production of pathogenic bacteria or reducing the number of viable cells [3] . After the administration of a probiotic product containing L. acidophilus to mice developed Escherichia coli diarrhea, it was observed that the clinic improved after the 3rd day. Fatty acids produced by lactic acid bacteria in the intestine prevent colonization of the intestine by Shigella sonnei and enteropathogenic E. coli [3] . The lowering effect of organic acids such as lactic and formic acid produced by probiotics as a result of metabolism and primary metabolites such as hydrogen peroxide also contribute to antibacterial effect [4] . It has been observed that lactic acid bacteria produce antibiotic-like, high molecular weight substances in vitro. These include acidoline, lactocidine, acidophylline, diplocoxin and nisin. The presence of these substances has not yet been demonstrated in the intestine [3,4,7,9] . b. Competition for nutrients: In vitro studies have shown that intestinal bacteria compete with C. difficile for intestinal nutrients such as monomeric glucose, N-acetyl glucosamine and sialic acid, and S. flexneri for carbon sources [10,4] . c. Competition for adhesion receptors: Many pathogens need to attach to the intestinal wall to cause disease. Probiotic microorganisms compete with pathogenic bacteria for these sites and prevent their attachment [11] . 2. Influencing Microbial Metabolism Suppression of beta-glucronidase, nitroreductase and azoreductase activity in the intestine has been observed in humans fed L. acidophilus [12] . L. rhamnosus GG strain suppresses fecal hydrolase activity [1] . Urease activity decreases with probiotic treatment [13] . Studies in both mice and humans have shown increased beta-galactosidase activity during treatment [14] . 3. Immune System Stimulation The intestinal mucosa has a special antigen transport system formed by Peyer's plaques to assimilate antigens. In physiological conditions, very few antigen fractions can cross the defense barrier of enterocytes. This defense barrier dietary antigens, pathogen microorganisms, chemicals and so on. and many allergens and pathogens have found entry into the body [13,15] . Probiotics are capable of stimulating both components of the immune system: a. Macrophage activation: Since most probiotic bacteria are gram-positive bacteria, the cell walls are mainly composed of peptidoglycan. Muramyl peptides, which are among the degradation products of peptidoglycan, provide direct macrophage activation [2] . It has been suggested that for systemic effect with probiotic bacteria, the bacteria must be translocated. Lactobacilli may be translocated and survive for several days in the spleen, liver and lungs [4] . However, bacterial translocation is rare in healthy people, so they should be able to stimulate the immune system without leaving the lumen. Today, enterocytes are known to be involved in the immune response by producing cytokines. Interleukin-8 (IL-8), tumor necrosis factor-a (TNF-a), monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and granulocyte-macrophage, which, when confronted with certain bacteri The expression of genes encoding colony stimulating factor (GMCSF) is increased [2] . b. Increase in antibody levels: An increase in total and specific IgA levels was detected in probiotic-fed animals and humans. Total IgA and antipolio virus IgA levels in stool samples of babies fed with formula containing bifidobacteriae were significantly higher than controls [16] . During Lactobacillus GG use, an increase in the number of cells secreting sIgA against rotavirus and serum IgA levels was detected [17] . CLINICAL USE OF PROBIOTICS 1. Lactose Intolerance Lactose intolerance is characterized by the congenital absence of beta-galactosidase enzyme that breaks down lactose in the intestine. It has been observed that people with lactose intolerance tolerate lactose in yogurt better than that in milk [18] . Bacteria taken with yogurt and producing lactase upon arrival in the intestine were held responsible for this effect. Lactose intolerance improved with milk containing L. acidophilus [3,14] . Probiotics can also be used to improve lactase activity in the gut in children with Giardia lamblia infestation [19] . 2. Pseudomembranous Enterocolitis Fecal enemas taken from healthy individuals improve the condition. Some types of lactobacilli also prevent relapses in PMEC [20] . Prophylactic use of probiotics is recommended especially for risky patients. 3. Intestinal Infections Some probiotics have been shown to prevent and treat some bacterial and viral infections in clinical and laboratory studies [21] . Intestinal flora, E. coli, Campylobacter jejuni, Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium botulinum, Salmonella spp. and Yersinia enterocolitica [4] . Use of Lactobacillus GG prevents rotavirus diarrhea in children and shortens disease duration [17,22] . Similar results were obtained with L. casei Shirota strain and B. bifidum [13] . The administration of oral nonenteropathogenic E. coli strains to preterm and term newborns prevented the establishment of pathogenic strains and protected infants against E. coli diarrhea [23] . Lactobacillus and Saccharomyces species were found to be effective on tourist diarrhea [24,25] . Saccharomyces boulardii yeast prevents antibiotic-induced diarrhea and PMEK attacks [26] . Preparations of L. acidophilus and Bifidobacterium reduce radiation-induced diarrhea and intestinal side effects [13] . 4. Constipation Positive results were obtained in the treatment of constipation with the use of L. acidophilus [4] . 5. Antitumor Effect In 1962, Bogdanov et al . Observed that L. bulgaricus produced substances that prevent tumor growth, and many studies have been conducted on this subject [12,27,28] . Anticarcinogenic effects of lactobacilli are tried to be explained by 3 mechanisms: Inhibition of tumor cells: L. casei Shirota has an inhibitory effect on chemically induced tumors in animals. Although Lactobacillus GG inhibits initiation and early development stages in tumorigenesis, it has no effect on the tumor. Lactic acid bacteria form butyrate and butyric acid by column fermentation. Butyrate slows growth in vitro in cultured colon cancer cells [13] . • Inhibition of fecal microbial enzymes, such as beta-glucronidase, beta-glucosidase, azoreductase, and urease, which produce carcinogens from various complexes [4,13] . • Suppression of nitroreductase involved in degradation and synthesis of nitrosamines [10,12] . 6. Anticholesterolemic Effect The effects of yogurt and L. acidophilus milk on blood cholesterol are variable. Yogurt intake in humans reduces blood cholesterol, but this effect is more pronounced with fermented milk. Bacterial metabolites in fermented milk are thought to suppress cholesterol synthesis in the body. Some lactobacilli have a direct effect on cholesterol levels by assimilating cholesterol in reproductive media [4,29] . 7. Food Allergy It is attributed to disruption of antigen transport in the intestinal mucosa. Lactobacillus GG strengthens the immune barrier by stabilizing the mucosal barrier and provides a proportional passage through Peyer's plaques [6,13,30] . 8. Atopic Dermatitis It is a chronic skin disease which is frequently seen especially in children and goes on with exacerbations. The increase in IL-4 production caused by food allergens such as macromolecular absorption and casein in these children is responsible for the clinical picture. Lactobacillus GG can break down food allergens such as bovine casein and thus reduce IL-4 production [6,13] . 9. Inflammatory Bowel Diseases In these patients, an exaggerated increase in immune system reaction and a decrease in the barrier function of the intestinal epithelium have been identified [30] . Probiotic use in the maintenance treatment of patients may support the immune barrier function of the intestine [30,31,13] . 10. Rheumatoid Arthritis Urease activity was found to be high in patients with juvenile chronic arthritis. Probiotic therapy suppresses urease activity [13] . 11. Urinary System Infections In women with uncomplicated lower urinary tract infection, weekly intravaginal Lactobacillus treatment has been found to reduce the frequency of infectious episodes [32] . Since the ascending pathway is important in the development of urinary tract infections, increased lactobacilli in the intestine may prevent episodes of urinary tract infection [33] . 12. In Farm Animals Probiotic Use Probiotics are used to accelerate growth and increase ovulation in livestock [4] . PROBIOTICS 'ADVANTAGES ON ANTIBIOTICS • Does not induce resistance to antibiotics in a way that disrupts treatment. • Non-toxic. No side effects and no toxic residues in slaughter animals. • Stimulates the immune system. • Does not predispose to other infections since it does not disturb flora. • It is much cheaper than antibiotics. PROBLEMS IN PROBIOTIC USE • Poor quality control. • Dosing problem. • Necessity of continuous use: The effects of probiotics can only be sustained by continuous use. The effects cease soon after use is discontinued. RESULT The World Health Organization, in Geneva in 1994, aimed at limiting the use of antibiotics to accelerate growth in animals; in humans, vaccines, bacterial interactions, serum therapy and the use of macrophages have been suggested to prevent infections by increasing immunity [1] . Probiotics attract attention as agents that can provide these effects. However, there is little evidence yet about the use of probiotics. Therefore, they cannot replace antibiotics at least for now, but they can repair flora damage and resistance to infections due to food and environmental factors. In order for probiotics to be widely used in therapeutic medicine, more studies are needed on them. 24AXX

Since eggshell quality has a significant impact on the profitability of spawning farms, enzyme selection should be made not only by considering the effects on energy enhancement and performance, but also on egg quality. Kurt Van de Mierop - Manager, Nutrex, Belgium In many Asian countries, the use of xylanases is associated with periods when wheat-based diets are used. These diets are believed to be necessary because of their thickening ability to improve wheat digestibility and rash quality. When the years of wheat were passed and corn became more convenient or cheaper, the use of xylanase was often abandoned or at best seen as a secondary element. Often forgotten is that in corn and many other plant materials, arabinoxilane (AX), a substructure of xylanase, is also present in substantial amounts. Furthermore, arabinoxylan is largely insoluble and difficult to break down, and a xylanase must have different properties to have a beneficial effect in such diets. Many people either forget or are unaware that the amount of insoluble AX present in vegetables (wheat, corn and other similar raw materials) offers a unique potential for the production of prebiotic oligosaccharides via enzyme. Partial hydrolysis of soluble and insoluble AX to smaller arabinoxylene oligosaccharides (AXOS) ferments them faster and supports the desired microbiota. This leads to significant production of the desired SCFAs (short chain fatty acids), especially butyrate, and also improves morphological and histological changes in the small intestine. INTESTINAL HEALTH AND EGG SHELL QUALITY Improved bowel health not only affects nutrient digestion, but also affects body structure and egg shell quality. Low quality crust is one of the most important problems of poultry and also affects the economic profitability of egg production and hatching. Cracked or broken eggs constitute 80-90% of the total spoiled eggs. The eggs are separated because they are cracked or cracked. One of the main concerns is that shell quality decreases as the age of the chicken increases because the proportion of broken eggs may exceed 20 percent at the end of the spawning period. Furthermore, the high shear strength of the shells and the absence of shell defects are necessary for protection against penetration of pathogenic bacteria into the egg. Several studies in the past have shown the positive effects of Nutraz Xyla on the microbiotic structure. Alireza et al. (2015) designed a study to demonstrate the real mechanism by which intestinal microbiota is affected by additional feed enzymes. Bacteria xylanase, Clostridium cluster IV (butyrate producers) and butyryl CoA-acetate significantly increased the number of bacteria of CoA-transferase genes (Table 1). In addition to the effect on the microbiota, intestinal morphology was clearly influenced because villus length and villus / crypt ratio increased by 24 percent and 42 percent, respectively. The results suggest that Nutraz Xyla influences the intestinal microbial profile through a combination of easily fermented AX fragments with a general change in digestive composition as a substrate for intestinal microbiology. Promoting good bowel health and feed intake can help to achieve better eggshell quality. Due to the lower pH resulting from the improved production of SCFA, bioavailability of minerals can be expected to increase. At the same time, increased production of butyrate may increase the absorption capacity of the intestinal mucosa. TRIAL RESULTS Various studies have been conducted in cooperation with many research institutes to examine the 'side' effect of xylanases on egg quality. The results of these studies are summarized in Table-2. In the first, a significant increase (92.4% vs. 95.3%) was observed in the bacterial endo-xylanase group for chickens compared to the negative control group. FCR showed a 5.1 percent improvement in the enzyme group versus the negative control group. Besides the effect on performance, a significant enzyme effect was observed on the eggshell. The frequency of broken or cracked eggs fell from 2.33 percent to 1.63 percent. The aim of the second trial was to evaluate whether NSP enzymes from different origins had similar effects on commercial egg performance and eggshell parameters. Nutrients supplemented with laying diets, mushroom cocktail enzyme (FX) or Nutraz Xyla did not have a significant effect on performance. However, the spawning rate, egg weight and daily egg mass were numerically higher for Nutraz Xyla-fortified chickens compared to FX-fortified chickens. Eggs of chickens fed with Nutraz Xyla had significantly thicker shells, and broken shells were less than FX-fed chickens. The third study was conducted to evaluate the effect of Nutraz Xyla on performance and shell quality in aged chickens (54 to 74 weeks old). Feed supplementation with Nutraz Xyla significantly improved the percentage of ovulation (83.9 percent to 87.9 percent) and egg mass (58.3 g to 55.3 g), resulting in a feed conversion rate (1.974 to 2.085). significantly. While the broken and dirty egg event was reasonable and comparable between the evaluation groups, the soft shell egg was significantly lower for the Nutraz Xyla group (0.04 percent to 0.47 percent). Furthermore, a significantly higher Haugh unit (HU) value was noticed for chickens fed diets supplemented with Nutraz Xyla (90.14 to 87.60). The addition of a bacterial endo-1,4-b-xylanase resulted in more efficient egg production and higher HU compared to the negative control diet (Delezie et al., 2015). RESULTS Based on these results, we concluded that Nutraz Xyla did not reduce the nutritional effects of starch-free polysaccharides, but also contributed to the viable formation of prebiotic AXOS fermented in the pouch to produce high butyrate levels. The benefits of butyrate in terms of egg quality are widely accepted; therefore, if Nutraz Xyla's use can reduce or change the addition of butyrate, feed prices will fall significantly while maintaining positive effects. Since eggshell quality has a significant impact on the profitability of spawning farms, enzyme selection should be made not only by considering the effects on energy boost and performance, but also on egg quality. For many years, Nutrex has been working extensively on researching detailed action and unique features of Nutraz Xyla to demonstrate its ability to improve production performance and bowel health in all types of dietary and production systems. 23AXX
