Importance of the toilet flange
A toilet flange is an important part of the toilet. It is the point at which the unit connects to the toilet not only the floor, but also in the pipe that goes to the sewer. A poorly adjusted toilet flange can cause leaks, leading to weakening and rotting of tables, even in the bathroom around the toilet.

Features of the toilet flange
A flange is a flat circular piece of rubber, PVC or metal that has a hole drilled at intervals around the top of the circle through the bottom. These holes are for fastening screws and are used to keep the toilet. Some toilet flanges come as a circular piece, while others are connected to the PVC elbow joint. The elbow joint is connected to the pipe system, eventually leading to the sewer.
How a toilet works
The work of the toilet flange does not start when the water comes out and the waste goes to the sewer, but when the user pushes down the lever of the toilet to initiate a discharge. This raises either a trap or a ball above the discharge valve. The water in the tank rushes into the toilet. The trap is connected by chain to the lever. While the water is running out of the tank, the trap is lowering until the tank is empty. This activates a ball wrench, which fills the tank one more time.
Function of the toilet flange
While the toilet flushes, water released from the holes below the rim of the toilet bowl pushes water and debris from inside the intestine and up through the porcelain trap and down into the drain. Both connected gravity and suction from the toilet to the ground cause water and waste to run into the drainage system.
With the different uses of a toilet, a flange is a very important component. Proper maintenance is key, as replacing a defective flange is a very difficult task.
