Saniflo Saniflo 087 Elongated Toilet Bowl only (1.28 GPF) For SANIFLO Macerator Systems White

How to increase the water level in a toilet bowl

Having the proper amount of water in a toilet bowl helps to flush it completely clean. The amount of water in each individual toilet bowl is determined by the shape of the toilet itself. Some are designed to leave only a small amount of water in the cup. However, if the water level in the toilet is not allowing the passage of fluid each time, it can be easily adjusted with a few simple steps.

Instructions

1 Remove the lid of the toilet tank by simply lifting it up and locating the float inside the tank. The float looks like a ball and is usually attached to the end of a metal or plastic rod.

2 Locate the screw that is on the opposite end of the float, in which the metal or plastic rod is connected to the water valve. If you see more than one screw, adjust the screw that connects to the metal or only plastic rod.

3 Adjust the screw with a screwdriver, to reset the height at which the float closes the water valve. Each bath may be different, but most likely you will have to turn the screw counterclockwise. Adjust the screw approximately 1/4 turn, check the water level and repeat this process until the desired water level is reached.
