Recipe 1: Coconut Milk Wash

Restores moisture and cleanses the scalp.

Ingredients:
1 can of coconut milk
¾ cup of pure castile soap (Dr. Bronner's pure Castner soap is an excellent cleanser and offers several varieties)
1 teaspoon olive oil or vitamin E
1 teaspoon coconut oil (melted) *
Other oils, such as avocado, lavender or almond, also work well!

Combine all the ingredients in a jar, shake and use only a quarter of the mixture for each wash.

Recipe 2: Apple Vinegar Cleaner
It helps to balance the pH, eliminates bacteria, relieves dandruff and also seals the hair cuticle for moisture and shine.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
1 ½ cup of water

Combine the ingredients in a spray bottle. Separate dry hair into four sections and spray the mixture from root to tip. Let it stand for 3 to 5 minutes before rinsing it. This routine is most effective when applied 1 to 2 times per week.

Recipe 3: Tea Rinsing

Ingredients:
2 cups of strongly elaborated herbal tea (your need depends)
3 teaspoons of your favorite essential oil (we recommend mint for freshness)
½ tablespoon of baking soda (optional) *

Apply on the hair, when the tea is cooled to room temperature, massage for 5 to 20 minutes. Rinse well.
