A bed frame supports your mattress and keeps it off the floor. Some bed frames even come with a headboard or footboard to add to the decor of the room. If you are not satisfied with the selection of bed frames at your disposal and have some knowledge of working with work, you can make your own, saving you money and customizing the structure to fit your bedroom decor . The frame of the bed has to be sturdy to ensure that it does not collapse and that it does not wake up on the floor the next morning.

Instructions
1 Place the four 2 by 4 tables in a rectangular shape with the two longest boards on the sides of the frame and the two shorter boards at the top and bottom. Place the shortest boards within the longest boards and put all the pieces on the thinner side, which measures 2 inches.
2 Make two wood screws in each corner of the rectangle. Place the screws approximately 2 inches apart from each other and drill from the outside of the beam longer to drive them towards the center of the shorter beam.
3 Place the piece of wood on top of the frame. Fix it to the wood with a screw in each corner of the rectangle. Drill down so that the screw passes through the plywood and into the wooden beams.
4 Attach the plywood by placing a wooden screw in the center of each of the shorter bundles and two screws in each of the larger bundles, spaced evenly apart.
5 Turn the frame on its side so you can access both the inside of the frame and the top of the plywood.
6 Place a message in the corner of the frame where the two beams meet. Fix it in place with four wood screws driven through the surface of the plywood and into the post. Add reinforcement with two additional screws driven through the short beam into the post and two more screws driven by the beam length in the pole. Repeat this procedure for the other three corners.
7 Place an additional post in the center of one side of the frame, placing it flush against the length of the beam. Pull on the four screws on the back through the plywood. Drive three additional screws at the entrance through the beam. Repeat for the other three sides of the frame.
