How to remove oil stains on clothes
The easiest way to remove oil stains on clothes is to put liquid soap on the stains. Use your hands or a toothbrush to rub the stain. Next, rinse the liquid soap thoroughly. Wash clothes alone with a regular cycle and then let dry. Do not put the garment in the dryer, because the stain may remain. If the stain persists, repeat the process until the stain disappears. Cover the entire stain with liquid soap.
Stain removers can help you, but they are not necessary. You can use shampoo, as well as body oils. Alternatively you can use a bar of soap, or a bar of soap for hands or body (make sure you do not have any additives that could prevent cleaning, for example, Dove would not be recommended). You can also use fatty soaps, with "laundry soap" labels. Moisten with water (or ammonia for extra fat removal), then rub the tablet over the oil stain until enough foam has formed. You can also decompose the soap and put the resulting pieces on the stain, after moistening. If detergent is used for colored garments, be sure to dilute it, or the detergent may stain the garment. For persistent oil stains on clothing, use a toothbrush that will help you attack oil stains better than with your hand.
Create soap scum, detergent or shampoo on top of the stain.
You should see it dissolve. Dishwashers or laundry soaps contain special agents that fight fat, the same as shampoo.
Rinse the area with water first, then (optionally) you can rinse with vinegar.
Vinegar is a natural cleansing agent that can be applied in different solutions. However, it reduces the alkalinity of soaps or detergents, making them less effective. So do not use detergents or soaps along with vinegar. If desired, mix a part of vinegar with two pates of water and soak the garment. Then, rinse the vinegar and use the detergent / shampoo / soap methods mentioned above.
Wash the garment alone, with washing detergent.
Follow the washing instructions on the garment label. When ready to dry, let the garment air dry. Drying the garment in a dryer can cause oil stains on clothes to remain permanently.Repeat the steps if necessary.
