It is now time for mothers to dry, smoke or salt the food. Every woman can create her own pantry with a freezer sized to suit her needs. While technology makes this easy for us, we have a few tips on how to store food correctly, so we can do wonders in the kitchen. To keep the products for as long as possible and to use your freezer regularly and consume the products you have stored, it is useful to take a look at the following tips:

The rationale for freezing food is to delay deterioration processes and to ensure that they are stored in a healthy way until they are consumed. The ideal temperature for storing food in the freezer is -18 degrees. Bacteria that cause food spoilage cannot multiply at -18 degrees.
Fill your freezer as much as you can! This will prevent frozen food from changing inside temperature when the freezer door is opened; both your food will be protected from heat changes and you will save electricity.
If you use moisture and air permeable products during storage of food in the freezer, you may have to dispose of your frozen product. In addition, the material in contact with food must be healthy. Therefore, the material you store the product you want to freeze is important:

Plastic containers in which you are sure that there are no harmful substances are suitable for storage.
Glass, mica or metal containers may be preferred. If you freeze liquids such as meat or chicken broth, remember that liquids will not fit into their containers when frozen. Do not fill the container completely;
You can also use the fridge bags that you can easily find in the grocery stores. However, those who do not trust plastic bags can wrap their food in wrapping paper used in butchers before using it. You can wrap your food in paper and put it in a bag, then press it thoroughly and keep it safe.
You can store packaged meats from the markets with the package. However, if you consume the meat in these packages within maximum one month, keep it. It would be a good practice to wrap it with one more stretch film in case the package is punctured.

Try to put a new food in the freezer to the bottom and take the bottom ones to the top as new ones arrive. Thus, you have kept in front of your eyes the food that has been in the freezer for a while and has gone into oblivion.
If you store your food in closed containers where you cannot see them, it may be useful to mark them with colored pencils or labels depending on their type.
It doesn't matter whether your home is designed with a freezer rack or a drawer, store food as vegetables and meats in separate shelves or drawers.
You can't freeze everything: raw eggs, milk, yogurt, cream, very juicy vegetables (such as cucumbers, cabbage), greens.
Once you've done the ice cream job, thaw the last step. It is best to move food from freezer to cooler the day before it is used for a healthy thawing. Room temperature can be preferred for rapid thawing if it is not summer and the house is not too hot. Never try microwave ovens or heat dissolving. Stay healthy!
