As a precaution, it is not recommended to take turmeric with antidiabetic drugs. This is due to the fact that both curcumin and an antidiabetic drug reduce blood sugar levels, so it is believed that the joint use of these two substances can cause abnormally low blood sugar levels.
In rare cases, with individual intolerance to turmeric, it can cause an allergic reaction. We recommend starting turmeric treatment with small doses, gradually increasing with no side effects.
Taking turmeric for chronic diseases in the acute stage is not recommended.
