How to clean the grout residue from the paver

Cobblestones of the landscape are an excellent material to install as a garden trail or patio, and if grout is used between the cobblestones the result is a maintenance free zone that no weeds can infiltrate. When the grout is dripping or smeared on the paving stones and not cleaned immediately; The result is an unsightly or residue-like glob that ruins the uniform appearance of the cobblestones. While tedious, it is not too complicated to clean the dry paving stone grout.

Instructions

1 Place a spatula or chisel against the bulk of the dry grout with the spatula at an angle of 45 degrees.

2 Tap the end of the putty knife handle strongly with a hammer, being careful not to cut or chop the paver. The Grout Globule is released from the paver.

3 Rub the remaining residue from the dry grout using a wire brush in a back-and-forth motion to light step. This will lift the whitish film from the grout being left.

4 Rinse the paving stones to remove all loose grout and allow to air dry.

5 Examine The dry paving stones for any point of the grout that may have been lost. Repeat for all remaining grout drops and stains.
