How to clean grout with household products
Grout can be used in almost any place around the house, fitting between tiles or stones to give a smooth, finished look to your floor, shower or splash guard. To keep grout looking for its best shape, you want to clean regularly with a routine that eliminates any buildup of grout without causing damage. This can be done with some low cost cleaning tools and ingredients that thoroughly clean the surface with grout.
Instructions
1 Clean the grout as needed with a damp cloth. If necessary, add a few drops of soap to the rag and rub. Use a toothbrush to get into the smaller grout lines.
2 Sprinkle baking soda over the grout and rub with a damp nylon brush or old toothbrush. Wipe with a damp cleaning cloth to remove excess residue.
3 make a paste of one part of water by three parts of baking soda and scrub in the very soiled grout. Once again, clean the grout with a damp cloth to remove the paste residue.
