How to clean dry grout from tile surfaces
One of the most important steps in tile placement and grout diffusion is to clean wet grout from the tile surface before it dries. If this is not done, the grout residue will dry on the tile surface to create opacity. This fog will spoil the appearance of the tile and make it look dirty. However, there are ways you can clean the tile to remove the mist from the grout.
Instructions
1 warm water mixture 1 gallon with 1 cup sugar. Sugar will accelerate the ability of the solution to dissolve opacity and debris.
2 spread a thick layer of water with sugar on the tile surface with a sponge.
3 Let the whole water with sugar for at least two hours.
4 Scrub the dry grout film with a plastic scouring pad. Work in a circular motion until the water becomes cloudy and the grout residue dissolves completely.
5 Rinse the area with clean water and dry thoroughly with a clean cloth.
