How to clean and brighten grout on ceramic floor tiles
Ceramic floors are a beautiful addition to any room in the house. There are so many styles-rustic, modern, traditional, funky-and are an important part of the décor in the bathroom, kitchen, lobby, living room or dining room. However, over time, grouting between the tiles can become dirty and discolored. Learn how to clean and rinse grout so the tile floor looks better.
Instructions
1 If grout is lighter in color, spray with 50/50 mixture of water and chlorine. Let the mixture stand for 30 to 45 minutes, then rub vigorously with a firm toothbrush. There is no need to rinse the water with chlorine. This method has a lot of elbow fat, but the amazing results last for months.
2 If grout is darker in color, create a cleaning paste by mixing hydrogen peroxide with baking soda. Rub the mixture of pasta in the grout in a circular motion using an old towel. Let the pasta rest for about an hour. Then rub with a firm toothbrush until grout is clean. Remove all pasta by wiping with a damp cloth.
3 Apply grout sealant with a small foam brush after grout has dried completely. Grout sealant protects from stains and even more mold growth. Grout Sealant is available at your local home improvement store.
