Newly-installed tile grouting helps prevent water from penetrating behind the tile and contributes to the appearance of your room. When the tile putty is applied with a rubber trowel, it extends through the spaces between the tiles until the holes are filled. During this process it is normal for the grout to become smeared on the tile. Once you have finished grouting, the excess tile must be cleaned. The best way to clean after tile grout is to start work immediately after the injection is finished before grout becomes hard and harder to remove.
