The best way to clean mold in tile grout

The buildup of mold in grout bath tiles is a common problem in many households. Remove mold from grout, using some basic steps. The time it takes to clean it away will depend on the condition of the grout. Mild cases of mold can be removed with a brush and cleaner, while severe mold cases require that tile grout be soaked for several hours.

Instructions

1 Bath Cleaning spray in your tile grout. For best results, choose a bath cleaner specifically designed to clean mold.

2 Use a hard bristle brush to purify both the mold from the tile grout as possible.

3 Soak a couple of paper towels in chlorine bleach and place them on mold stains that cannot be removed by washing. Use An oxygen bleach if you are concerned about chlorine bleach affecting the color of your tile or grout.

4 Allow the bleach to penetrate into the grout of the stained tile for a few hours.

5 Remove paper towels and re-apply fresh soaked bleach to remaining stains. Repeat this process until all the mold has disappeared.
