Instructions

1 Mix one gallon of warm water with 1/4 cup of liquid dishwashing detergent (approximately four jets) in a bucket. Stir to form soap suds. For tile, mix a 2-cup water spray bottle and a liquid dish detergent solution.

Concentrate on grout areas with accumulation or residue, using a little more pressure during cleaning. Most of the time this will be all that is required to clean the grout properly.

3 for tile, spray solution over walls and wipe with a damp sponge.

4 for accumulated stains that are not easily removed by mixing dishwashing detergent, sprinkle baking soda in the grout areas with heavy accumulation. To do this, while the area is still wet from cleanliness, as baking soda will adhere more easily to a moist surface.

5 Use a soft bristle brush, such as a toothbrush to scrub the baking soda on the tile. Sodium bicarbonate is a non-abrasive cleaning agent that is no damage for cement grout or tiles, so for perfect washing cleaner.

6 clean with a damp cloth to remove any remaining residue or baking soda, then allow to air dry.
