Removing the cover in a Husqvarna lawn mower

Removing the cover in a Husqvarna lawn mower

A lawn mower platform, made of metal or plastic, covers the blade and keeps flying grass and debris from hitting you like mowing the lawn. When it is time to rebuild or repair your Husqvarna cutter, you need to properly remove the cover so that you will not cause damage. Husqvarna makes three types of cutters: zero-turn lawn mowers, lawn mowers and push tractors.
Instructions

1 Place a block on each corner of the Husqvarna cutting platform. Set the platform height lever to the lowest position to release tension from the springs holding the cover up.

2 Pull the top loop of the double loop retaining springs that engage between the front bracket on the cover and the front suspension brackets at the bottom of the Husqvarna frame. Use the tweezers to disengage the springs if you cannot by hand.

3 disengage the holding springs from the two suspension arms in the center of the mower frame base cover.
